项目摘要

2022年度は、唐初における王朝の厳しい仏教統制政策のもとで、地域社会においていかに集団での造像活動が行われたかという問題について，各地の唐最初期の造像記や寺碑など仏教石刻資料を当時の歴史的環境について個別事例の詳細な分析を行った。隋末唐初は各地に賊軍が割拠する状況であり、特に「偽乱地」と呼ばれる、賊軍が旧来統治していた土地において賊軍に加担した僧を厳しく取り締まるため、唐の支配下に入った地域では、かなり徹底した寺院・僧数の管理政策が採用された。その中で集団造像がなされた事例を分析すると、早期に唐に帰順した者や、唐の皇室と密接なつながりを有する地方長官が主導した場合にほぼ限定されていたことを明らかにした。また、北朝～隋に流行した義邑（邑義）とよばれる地域社会の宗教結社による造像が唐初期には見られないこともあわせて指摘した。本研究成果は印度学仏教学会で発表する予定であったが、台湾の華梵大学主催の国際学術会議に招待されたので、ここで発表することに変更し、その成果を会議論文として提出した。本年度も中国で厳しいコロナ対応政策がとられたため、実地調査は断念し、文献研究をすすめた。具体的には、課題にあげた玄奘のもたらした新仏教の地域社会における影響の調査と関わり、玄奘と高宗・武則天についての関係を改めて調査した。特に仏光王に関わる資料を重点的に調査する過程で、両者の関係の変化をより詳細に跡付けることが可能となり、その成果を論考にまとめ、「玄奘と高宗ーー智首律師碑の再検討」と題し、氣賀澤保規編『論集隋唐仏教社会とその周辺』に掲載した。また仏像にかかわって行われる仏教儀礼の調査を継続し、隋・初唐の地域社会における『般舟三昧経』に基づく仏像を用いた修行法の伝統の存在を明らかにし、その成果を『儀礼と仏像』に掲載した。

In 2022, in the early Tang Dynasty, the government's educational control policies, regional and social issues, collective image activities, and detailed analysis of individual cases in the context of the historical environment of the Tang Dynasty. The results of this study were presented at the International Academic Conference hosted by the Indian Society of Education and the University of China in Taiwan. This year, China's government has made great efforts to improve the quality of its products and services. Specific research on the relationship between Xuanzang and Wu Zetian Special attention should be paid to the investigation process of the relevant data, the transformation of the relationship between the two parties, the detailed trace of the possible results, the discussion of the results, the topic of "Xuanzang and Gaozong Zhishou lawyer tablet re-examination", and the compilation of "On the collection of Sui and Tang Dynasty education society and the surrounding areas". In the early Tang Dynasty, the regional society of the Sui Dynasty was divided into three parts, namely, the "Three Samadhi", the "Three Samadhi" and the "Three Samadhi".
