本研究の目的は、北海道を中心に東北地方、千島列島(北方四島)、サハリンを含めた北方地域における擦文文化後半期の物流交易の展開と集団の拡散を明らかにし、擦文文化期からアイヌ文化期へと移行する時期の不明瞭な物流経済の実態を明確にすることにある。研究実施計画は、①北海道における12～13世紀の本州産陶磁器、鉄製品、漆器の調査と集成・検討、②東北地方における11～12世紀の擦文土器の調査と集成・検討、③千島列島(北方四島)、サハリンにおける擦文文化期の遺跡、擦文土器の調査と検討、④本州産陶磁器、須恵器、擦文土器の胎土分析、鉄製品の成分分析による生産地の検討、⑤12～13世紀の北方地域と本州の物流交易に関連する文献史料(記述)の集成・検討であり、令和4年度の研究は、実施計画にそって次のとおり実施した。①については、道央部の札幌市、恵庭市、千歳市、厚真町を中心に陶磁器、鉄製品の調査、道東北部の枝幸町、北見市、紋別市を中心に鉄製品の調査を実施するとともに、既存の報告書等を参照し集成・検討作業を進めた。②については、青森県の青森市、弘前市、秋田県の大館市、北秋田市、鹿角市、岩手県の奥州市、滝沢市で擦文土器や関連する鉄製品、須恵器等の調査を行った。③については、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大、ロシアに関係した国際情勢の影響等により北方四島における現地調査は実施できなかったが、これまでの調査成果や既存の報告書等をもとに集成・検討作業を進めた。④については、これまでに実施した須恵器の胎土分析調査成果の整理・検討を行った。⑤については、刊行史料を中心に北方地域と本州の物流交易に関連する記述の集成を進めた。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the development and dispersion of logistics transactions in the second half of Hokkaido culture period, the transition period of Hokkaido culture period, and the status of logistics in the central region of Hokkaido, the Kuril Islands (the four northern islands) and the northern region. The research projects include: (1) Investigation and integration of ceramic magnets, iron products, and lacquerware produced in Honshu in the 12th and 13th centuries in Hokkaido;(2) Investigation and integration of earthenware produced in the 11th and 12th centuries in Tohoku;(3) Investigation and investigation of relics and earthenware produced in the 1000 Islands (the four northern islands);(4) Embryonic soil analysis of ceramic magnets, ironware, and earthenware produced in Honshu; The composition analysis of iron products includes the investigation of production sites, the integration of historical documents (descriptions) related to logistics transactions between northern China and Honshu in the 12th and 13th centuries, and the study of the fourth year and the implementation plan. (1) The investigation of iron products and ceramics in the center of Sapporo City, Keiwa City, Chisui City and Atsuma Town in the central part of the road, the investigation of iron products in the center of Ekuchi Town, Kitami City and Mobetsu City in the northeastern part of the road, and the integration and discussion of existing reports. 2. Investigation of iron products and aluminum products related to Aomori City, Hirosaki City, Akita City, Akashi City, Iwate City, Aoshu City, and Sakazawa City. (3) The investigation results and existing reports of the four northern islands should be integrated and discussed. (4) To organize and discuss the results of tire soil analysis and investigation. (5) The integration of the description of the logistics transactions in the northern region and the state is carried out in the center of the publication of historical materials.
