项目摘要

「海洋プラスチックごみ対策に関する政策と法制度研究」を進めるため、令和４年度は、ヒアリング調査（海洋プラスチックごみによる被害の著しい地方自治体や、同問題の解決に向けて取り組む環境団体等）と、現地（海岸）視察を実施した。具体的には、７月に長崎県五島市、９月に高知県高知市、令和５年２月に徳島県徳島市、鳴門市を訪問して、海洋プラスチックごみ対策に関するヒアリング調査（行政機関、NPO法人等）と現地（海岸）視察を行った。また、国や地方自治体等関係機関の資料や報告書、関連文献等の収集、整理、検討、分析等を中心に研究活動を行った。海洋プラごみ問題の解決に向けては、行政による対策に加え、NPO法人等による取り組みが重要である点を改めて認識することができた。このような活動は、本研究を進めていくにあたり、非常に有益なものであった。そのほか、研究成果を地域社会や教育現場へ還元することの一環として、ゼミナール（九州産業大学宗像ゼミナール）において、自然保護団体による海岸清掃活動への参加（福岡市東区、随時）や、国際海岸クリーンアップ（ICC；International Coastal Cleanup）への参加（福岡市東区、10月）等の活動を行った。また、九州産業大学地域共創学部地域づくり学科ゼミナール研究発表会（11月）にて、宗像ゼミナール海洋ごみ問題研究班が「海洋ごみ問題に関する研究：糸島市の事例を中心に」とのタイトルで、ゼミナールでの海岸清掃活動の実績等もふまえて発表を行い、研究奨励賞を受賞した。
