2022年度においては、本研究に関するものは2本の論文を公刊し、また1件の口頭発表を行った。いずれも別記の通りである。論文はともに1950年代の日本社会党と国際社民ネットワークとの関係を扱ったものだが、一つは冷戦初期の1940年代後半から50年代初期を対象とするもので、当時行われていた日本社会党における講和論争が、同時期に西欧社民政党を中心に結成されていた国際社民ネットワークの冷戦政策から大きな影響を受けていたことを明らかにした。本論文は、日本国際政治学会の『国際政治』に掲載された。もう一つは、1950年代初期に結成され、末期に事実上の活動停止に至ったアジア社会党会議における日本社会党の役割を論じたものである。アジア社会党会議は当初反共主義が強く、西欧社民ネットワークとの関係も近かったが、冷戦の雪解けが進行するにつれて、東西双方と距離を置こうとする中立主義が台頭し、また西欧社民ネットワークとも疎遠になっていった。こうした変化は日本社会党内における左派の台頭と軌を一にするものであり、アジア社会党会議における日本社会党の存在感を示すものでもあった。この論文は、フランスのパリ政治学院（Sciences Po）の研究者たちを中心にまとめられた、左派国際主義を主題とする論文集として公刊された。本論文集は世界の様々な地域における左派国際主義の運動の歴史を"transnational political history"の視角から論じたものである。口頭発表は、日本や中国を中心とするアジア国際関係史のシンポジウムの場で行ったもので、上記の内容とも重複するが、アジアにおいて社会民主主義勢力のネットワーク構築が成功しなかったのは、その反共主義故に、東西冷戦から距離を置こうとするアジア諸国の要請に応えられなかったからとの主旨を論じたものである。
