项目摘要

本年度は研究プロジェクト３年目の最終年度の予定であったため、前年度に作成した海洋資源の利用状況・枯渇の程度に関するデータベースを利用して、整理・集計・改善を進めつつ実際の計量分析を行なっていった。しかし、コロナ禍の影響で同時並行で行うつもりであったフィールド調査や、計量分析結果をまとめて学会に参加、報告することによりコメントや議論などをもとに分析内容をブラッシュアップすることなど、十分なクオリティをもつ研究論文に仕上げるための諸作業を行うことができなかった。そのため、本年度中の研究成果の公表を諦め、次年度まで研究期間を延長することとした。これまでに得られた研究成果は以下のとおりである。１）海洋漁獲資源においては、資源枯渇状況は落ち着いてはいるものの、依然として厳しい資源枯渇状況が続いている魚種、海域が多い。２）特に「国際魚種」と言われる世界中で取引（貿易）、消費されている魚種について、資源状況が厳しいケースが多い。計量分析結果からも、輸出を積極的に行なっている魚種・海域の方が資源状況が悪い傾向が確認できる。２）については、前年度のデータを集計した結果の読み取りからも同様の傾向は見出せていたが、魚種別・海域別・貿易国別のマイクロデータを使った計量分析においてもやはり同様の結果が確認できたということで、一定の成果は得られたと思う。しかし、研究のブラッシュアップのためには学会などでの他の研究者からの知見やコメント、および実地調査に基づく制度運用の実際面などの知見などを得ることが必要であったが、そのための移動が難しかったこともあり、学術誌などに掲載されうるクオリティの論文の執筆には今年度中には至らず、研究期間の延長を決断した。
