本研究は、近年グローバル市場において大きな躍進を遂げてきた新興市場発多国籍企業（EM-MNEs）にフォーカスし、事例研究の手法を用いてこれらの企業の競争優位構築のプロセスおよびメカニズムを解明しようとするものである。過去の一年間において、次のことを中心に研究活動を行ってきた。まず、前年度に行ったアリババ・グループの調査を踏まえ、当該企業の国際戦略を分析する論文を二本執筆した。そのうちの一本「新興国発多国籍企業の国際戦略」を題とする論文は、『国際ビジネス研究』ジャーナルに採択され、第１５巻第１号に掲載される予定である。そしてもう一本Dual-Internationalization Strategies of Emerging Market E-tailersを題とするものは、EMAC Annual Conference 2023に採択された。これらの論文は、EM-MNEsの異質な国際プロセスに焦点を当て、その戦略を考察することを研究の目的とするものであり、EM-MNEsが二重の国際化を行う際、先進国市場と新興国市場においてはそれぞれ適応化戦略と標準化戦略を駆使することを明らかにしたことで、既存の多国籍企業論に新たなインプリケーションを与えた。一方、前年度執筆した二本の論文はSSCIジャーナルSustainabilityに掲載された。これらの論文は、情報技術の進歩や経営環境の急変によって、企業のビジネスモデルがどのように変わったかを議論したものである。

This study aims to explore the application of case study techniques to the construction of competitive advantages for multinational enterprises (EM-MNEs) in emerging markets in recent years. During the past year, the Center has conducted research activities. In the past year, I have written two papers on the investigation and analysis of the company's international strategy. A book titled "International Strategy for Multinational Enterprises in Singapore" was published in the 15th issue of "International Business Research". A Dual-Internationalization Strategy of Emerging Market E-tailors was developed for EMAC Annual Conference 2023. This paper focuses on the international focus of EM-MNEs, and the purpose of the study is to explore the dual internationalization of EM-MNEs in advanced countries and emerging markets, as well as the standardization of EM-MNEs. One of the papers was written in the previous year and the other was published in SSCI. This paper discusses the rapid development of information technology and management environment, and the development of enterprises.
