项目摘要

本研究課題の目的は、ビジネスモデルの国際化プロセスの一般理論を開発することにある。情報通信技術の進化が加速する現代、ビジネスモデルに基づく市場開発は小売業やデジタル産業のみならず、自動車、金融、医療などの伝統的な業界においても拡大している。しかしビジネスモデルによる国際市場開発は容易には進まない。本研究は、国際ビジネス理論を応用し国境を越えるビジネスモデルの定量的でかつ動態的な分析を通じて、国際化に成功するビジネスモデルに共通する要素 (制度要因、組織能力、適応化のための学習プロセス)を導出し、ビジネスモデル国際化の一般理論を開発する。かかる目的の達成のため、本年度（令和4年度／2022年度）は主に国際ビジネス論におけるビジネスモデル研究をレビューし、その論点を整理することに努めた。2000年以降、ビジネスモデルの概念定義、研究分野の整理、実証研究が積み重ねられてきた。しかし国際ビジネス論との関係については検討が始まったばかりであり、海外市場、グローバル市場におけるビジネスモデルの展開とその成果を分析するフレームは準備できていない。先行研究では、ビジネスモデルの企業特殊優位性と立地制約性が主たる論点として議論が展開されている。つまりビジネスモデルの内在する競争優位の源泉であるネットワークが生み出す効果とネットワークそのものの国際的な移転可能性がビジネスモデルのグローバル化と国際化の成功の鍵を握る。価値提案、活動のネットワークと国境の関係に関する理論的な検討が課題として認識された。また本年度は文献レビューに加え、年次報告書や記事等のテキストデータを収集しデータクリーニングを実施した。これらテキストデータのセットを来年度以降、分析に活用する。
