项目摘要

本研究課題は、現代の社会調査が数量的×質的の二分法で分かたれる以前の戦後初期の時代に、どのような社会調査がいかなる方法によっておこなわれたのかを精査し、未分化な社会調査の時代からいかに質的調査が分化して、今日的な質的調査法として実践されるようになったのか、質的調査法成立へのプロセスを明らかにすることをめざしている。とくに戦後初期より独自性の高い質的調査研究成果を数多く輩出した社会学者森岡清美の調査資料群から1950年代60年代の宗教調査と家族調査に着目し、そのリサーチデザインや調査手法、調査展開や調査成果を精査することで、単純な二分法では収まりきらない調査実践の豊かさと独自性の高い質的調査の方法を具体的な調査資料をもとに考察している。2022年度は、森岡調査資料群に含まれる調査資料のうち1950年代60年代に実施された現地調査のリ-スタディ調査をおこない、調査のリサーチデザインや調査手法、調査展開、調査成果との関連で具体的な調査実践をとらえる研究をおこなった。さらに2022年度後半は、森岡清美の書斎・書庫調査を実施して、遺された未整理の調査資料の確認作業に着手している。コロナ禍による現地調査実施の制約はあるものの、リ-スタディ調査や関連する社会調査の調査地の確認、森岡調査のバックグラウンドとなった関連調査の考察にも取り組んでいる。また、新たに見いだされた森岡調査資料をリサーチヘリテージとしてアーカイヴ化する具体的な方策についての検討も開始した。

This research topic is divided into two parts: quantity and quality of modern social survey. The former and the later, the earlier and the later, the methods of social survey. In the second half of FY2022, the survey of Kiyoshi Morioka's books and stacks was carried out, and the confirmation of unsorted survey data was started. The investigation site confirmation of social investigation and the investigation group selection of forest investigation and related investigation shall be conducted according to the requirements of local investigation and related investigation. In addition, the new survey data will be sent to the public for further information.
