项目摘要

22年度は、中山間部における伝承の分布や海鳴りの伝搬範囲について地域住民からの証言を集め、一定の成果を得た。これにあわせてウェブサイトを開設し、さらにひろく証言を募集する試みも行った。さらに沿岸部から中山間部までの観察および録音調査によって、昨年度に引き続き、海鳴りの長距離伝搬や音響的特性に関する情報を集めた。より高品質の録音機材の使用により昨年度以上の記録を得た。また昨年度から引き続き現地研究協力者による情報収集も続けられ、上記の長距離伝搬や音響的特性に関する情報をより分厚く集めることができた。また、協力者たちによる夏場の台風接近時の集中的な観測調査が実施され、大気の変動にともなう海鳴りの変化に関する貴重な情報を得ることができた。くわえてこうしたとりくみそのものが、単に情報を収集する手段としてではなく、地域の風景の記憶と伝承に貢献する様子が見受けられた。またあらたな取り組みとして、公立小中学校の校歌の歌詞を手がかりに、従来調査地としていた浜松市をこえた広く遠州灘地域での海鳴りの伝搬状況や地域住民による価値づけに関する調査を開始した。これらの成果について、国内・国外での研究報告を実施した。とくに音と環境に関する研究者が集うWorld Forum for Acoustic Ecologyが開催した国際会議では、音環境と地域社会との関係性について、社会文化的アプローチと音響的アプローチを組み合わせた研究が高い評価を得た。またウェブサイトをつうじて研究成果をひろく市民に共有する試みも本年度より開始した。年度末には「報告会」として、現地研究良力者に対する調査成果報告を行い、さらに今後についての議論を深めた。
