项目摘要

東日本大震災の発災後9―11年目の被災地及び被災者の健康及び生活環境の変容を検証する本研究は新型コロナ感染症の拡大と緊急事態宣言の発令により予定よりもフィールドベースのデータ収集は少なくなったが、被災3県在住の研究協力者の協力により調査は順調に進捗した。発災後10年で被災者の健康は加齢による身体の健康の悪化とともに家族の喪失にもよるこころの健康の悪化が顕著に見られた。日常的に「歩きにくくなった「やる気が起こらない」等の増加の一方で、外部介入では物資提供から茶話会のイベントへ、仮設住宅の最終段階では草刈りを軸とする環境改善支援が被災者から高い評価を得た。さらに被災3県のコミュニティを元気づけた「調理実習を中心とする料理教室」（味の素グループ、赤いエプロンプロジェクト）を独居高齢者・社会的弱者の孤立防止のコミュニティレベルの避難フェーズ別の効果的介入事業に位置付け効果測定を実施した。被災者とそれ以外の人々、地域との交流、「男の料理教室」では孤立しがちや高齢男性独居被災者の外出機会と栄養改善に日本独特の復興モデルとして卓越した効果を見せた。発災10年を超える被災者の心身の健康の変化と調理実習という日本独特の介入の成果を世界に発信し、書籍１冊、論文7本（英文３、和文4本）、国際学会発表４本の他、2021年には研究成果の書籍「仮設住宅その10年」（共著）は都市計画学会、日本不動産学会から2020年度の学会優秀賞として２つの賞を受賞した。

The Urban Planning Society and the Japan Real Estate Society have received excellent awards for 2020.
