项目摘要

中年女性の３Dバーチャルボディ開発のために行ってきたこれまでの体型研究データを生かして、アパレル設計及び学校教育等に役立つ中年女性用実物ボディを開発することを主な研究目的とした。2020年度は新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴い、追加での三次元計測が実施できず、測定済みの計測データを用いて分析を行った。体幹形状での主成分分析とクラスター分析の結果、大きく４つの体型に分類できた。これより、中年女性として平均的な体型を考えるのではなく、若者に近い体型と中年らしい周径が大きい体型で別々に検討する必要があることが示唆された。2021年度は4つのタイプの体型を詳細に検討した。まず、若者に近い体型群の検討を行うため、9ARの同サイズの若年と中年を比較し、形状差を検討した。その結果、同一サイズであっても、両者は同じ形状ではなく、細部に違った特徴を持っていることが分かった。これは、若年用原型を使用して中年用の衣服設計をすると、着用に不具合が生じることを意味しており、中年女性向けボディ及び衣服設計の必要性を再認識する結果となった。2022年度は、まず実物ボディ作成のためのボディ形状の検討を行った。体幹形状と上半身、下半身それぞれで体型分類を行った結果、同一被験者で分析をしているにもかかわらず、相同モデル形状が異なると主成分因子も、クラスター分析結果として出てくる体型分類の形状も異なり、相同モデルの形状を限定していくと、その部分の要因が明確に導き出されることがわかった。検討の結果、実物ボディとしては体幹形状がよいと結論づけ、2タイプの体幹形状を発泡スチロールで形成し、ボディメーカーと打ち合わせを行った。リアルな体幹形状では衣服設計が難しいというボディメーカー側の経験値を参考に衣服設計がしやすいボディに向けて、体表面の凸凹を平滑化する作業を継続中である。
