项目摘要

ストヤノフの批判的人間形成論の再解釈を進めた。ストヤノフはホネット承認論を基盤とした人間形成論を展開しており、現代社会における移民や移動の社会課題に応えるだけではなく、教育の対象としての子どもの特性を踏まえた理論を提案している点に特徴がある。とりわけ、いかなる場合でもよい承認があると考えるのではなく、承認が新しい教育統制の手段へ変貌する可能性も踏まえ、承認が適切に作用する場合とその反対に作用する場合があるとし、区別の重要性が明らかになった。また、1960年代以降の激動の時代とその後における批判的教育科学の展望についても考察を推進した。とりわけ、ハーバーマスの理論を中心に教育実践と改革への影響を明らかにし、戦後ドイツにおける連立政権下での教育改革の課題とその後の展開を踏まえ、今日においても未だ実現されていない教育課題のあることが示された。ストヤノフの批判的人間形成論の検討と批判的教育科学の展開を重ねて考察することから見えてきたのは、次の二点である。第一に、アドルノのラジオ放送が教育実践家に与えた影響と同じように、ハーバーマスの理論に基づいた民主化の教育と実践が語られているわけではないことから、フランクフルト学派の第一世代と第二世代における教育学への影響は質の異なるものであったと言える。また、教育改革期においてハーバーマスの理論は実践家から求められるような直接的な影響関係下にあったわけではなく、理論的な影響の強さが前面に出ている。第二に、ストヤノフの批判的人間形成論は、人生において新しい自己を形成するような変容する自己を説明するだけではなく、既存の社会における自己を超える自己形成論である。ここには、社会批判と連動する人間形成論が示唆されており、主体性の拡大とは人格を形成する自由に基づくことであり、既存のアイデンティティを超え複数の共同体を翻訳する人間形成過程のことである。
