项目摘要

本年度の後半から、新型感染症による行動制限も緩和され、計画していた国内外のフィールドワークの一部を実施することができた。そのうち１件目は韓国ソウル市とソンナム市等における「食育」の状況調査であり、２件目は沖縄県南城市における「食としての稲作を中心としたコミュニティづくり」である。両者に共通する課題は、人口減を背景としたコミュニティへの求心力であり、外国人などの外部から移入者に対応することであった。ソウル市では給食を、ソンナム市では「地域児童センター」や「多文化家庭支援センター」などの現状をみることができた。ソンナム市における１食に対する公的支援は手厚く、「みんなケアセンター」では約800円であった。またソウル市は給食の無料化を図っており、ドルボム（放課後施設）でも「おやつ」を支給している。学校や施設で提供される「食」に対する期待は高く、「多文化家庭支援センター」ではバリスタ養成やキムチ作りといった「食」をキーワードにコミュニティへの定着を図っている。沖縄県の南城市では、「食育に関する手引き」などを参照しつつ、総合的な学習の時間やプロジェクト学習を「地域に開かれた教育課程」として学校と地域を結び付ける取組みを行っている。保護者の給食へのニーズは高いものの、行政は「お弁当の日」を設けることで、親子関係の結びつきにも注力している。また、行政の「まちづくり」では、地元の伝統的活動である「仲村渠稲作」を中心に、外部からの移住者を巻き込んだ取組みが進められている。行政の担当者、稲作会のメンバーは、沖縄出身はもちろん、海外での生活経験を持つ者などによって構成されていた。その他、兵庫県内において、昨年度に引き続き「児童の生きる力と食生活に関わる親の態度・行動との関係」について調査を行っている。
