本研究は、公立高等女学校（以下、高女という）と官立女子高等師範学校の同窓会組織に焦点を当て、1）戦前期においてどのような「教育事業」を運営していたのか整理し、2）それらの「教育事業」が戦後教育改革期を経て、いかなる要因によって維持／廃止されたのかを実証的かつ具体的に解明することを目的としている。3年目にあたる2022年度は、これまで収集してきた史料と文献のうち、大阪府立大手前高女と兵庫県立神戸第一高女（以下、兵庫県一女）の同窓会に焦点を当てて整理・検討し、すでに分析済みの京都府と和歌山県の公立高女同窓会の「教育事業」活動と比較検討を行った。その結果、大阪府と兵庫県は、京都府と和歌山県の事例と非常に似通っている点と、独自の事業展開を見せていた点が指摘できた。似通っていたのは、1つに「交友・親睦」「母校支援」「社会奉仕」活動を行っていた点、2つに「教育事業」活動において4府県いずれの高女にも、卒業後に在籍できる「花嫁学校」的な家政系の講習所や学園が存在した点である。独自の事業展開を見せていたのは、大手前高女の金蘭会による私立金蘭会女学校（後に高女）の設立・運営と兵庫県一女の欽松会による欽松学園の設立・運営である。ただし金蘭会による高女運営は設立から20年後の1925（大正14）年までであった。その後、金蘭会高女は金蘭会から独立し金蘭会高女同窓会の経営となる。この背景に何があったのかは現時点において把握できていないため、今後の課題に残された。また、兵庫県一女の補習科から発展した欽松学園は、学校経営が戦後継続できなかった京都や和歌山の例とは異なり、戦後に学園が復活し1990年代半ばまで運営されていた。以上の結果は「公立高等女学校の同窓会組織による教育事業活動とその展開」という題目で関西教育学会第74回大会にて報告を行った。またこの報告内容をもとに同学会年報への投稿を行った。
