项目摘要

現行の幼稚園教育要領、保育所保育指針、幼保連携型認定こども園教育・保育要領（保育の3法令）では、子どもの育ちをふり返る具体的な視点「幼児期の終わりまでに育ってほしい姿（＝「10の姿」）」が示されている。この「10の姿」は、子どもの育ちの方向性を表し、保育実践をふり返るための視点として示されているものである。保育現場においては、保育の方向性がわかりやすいとの意見がある一方、時に到達目標として誤解されやすいとの危惧もある。そこで、本研究においては「10の姿」を保育現場ではどのように活用しているか、課題や疑問点は何かについての実態調査を行った。加えて、小学校1年生のスタートカリキュラムにおける「10の姿」の活用に関して2か年にわたる調査を行い、小学校入門期における「10の姿」の活用の現状と課題についても明らかにした。結果として、「10の姿」が到達目標となりがちである、「10の姿」を小学校の各教科学習やカリキュラムマネジメントに活用するのは難しいとの実態が明らかになった。この結果をふまえ、「10の姿」を“子どもの育ちを見とる視点”としてより有効に活用するためには“保育者の関わりの視点”を関連付けた評価指標が必要であると考え、評価指標を作成することを目的として研究を進めた。“保育者の関わりの視点”に関しては、これまで研究代表者が行ってきた研究成果をもとに一覧を完成させた。この“保育者関わりの視点”と“子どもの育ちの経緯を見とるための「10の姿」の視点”を関連付けることで、保育プロセスを分析的に評価することができると考えている。なお、保育プロセスを向上させるためには、数的な基準を設けて評価を行うのではなく、エピソード記録により保育を言語化することが大切だと考えている。そこで“子どもの育ちの経緯”と“保育者の関わり”をエピソード記録により記述することを重視した形の評価指標を完成させた。
