项目摘要

育児休業の可能取得期間を考えるにあたって，保育開始時期が子どもの発達に及ぼす影響についての研究が欠かせない。そこで，昨年度の発達心理学会発表に続き，厚生労働省「21世紀出生児縦断調査」の個票データ（28121ケース）を使用した二次分析を行った。その結果，3歳半時点で問われた性格特性21項目を指標に，エクセル潜在クラス分析ver.1によって潜在クラス分析を行い，抽出された「活発で外向的」「内弁慶で自己主張」「活気なく内向的」「多動・強い自己主張」の４クラスについて，その予測要因を多項ロジスティック回帰分析によって検討した。ここから，「活気なく内向的」なクラスは，男児・第一子が多く，また，父学歴・父年収から捉えた家庭階層が高い傾向が示された。また，乳児期からの早期保育経験者が少ない傾向にあった。「多動・強い自己主張」クラスは，第一子が多く，また家庭階層が低い傾向が示された。「内弁慶で自己主張」クラスは「活発で外向的」クラスと「活気なく内向的」・「多動・強い自己主張」両クラスの中間的な特性を持つクラスだが，女児が多く，乳児期からの早期保育経験者が多かった。現在，就園かどうかは，どのクラスの予測変数とはならなかった。以上より，保育経験についていえば，早期保育経験がない場合に大人しく対人的に消極的である可能性が示唆された。この結果は，日本心理学会第86回大会（2022年9月10日）で発表された。しかし，早期保育経験の少なさは，母親就労が切実な条件とならない家庭階層の選択バイヤスの影響も示唆され，引き続き，検討される必要がある。なお，潜在クラス分析について，カテゴリカル指標の分析に優れたMplusを使用した結果を，第6回縦断研究セミナーで発表した（2022年11月12日）が，基本的には，ほぼそれまでの分析と変わらない数値結果が得られた。
