项目摘要

2022年9月に音楽・美術鑑賞のワークショップ（以下、WSと記述）を徳島県立近代美術館において対面で実施した。協働している当美術館は、2011年からユニバーサルミュージアムを目指して取り組みを継続しており、「学芸員、障害当事者、サポーターが一体となってつくるユニバーサルミュージアム」として令和5年3月に国土交通省によるバリアフリー化推進功労者大臣表彰を受賞している。実施した「身体で感じる・身体で味わう―音楽×美術で楽しむ鑑賞・表現ワークショップ」には、成人の聴覚障がい者（聾）1名、視覚障がい者（全盲）2名、視覚と聴覚の重複障がい者1名を含め17名の参加を得た。視覚障がい者はそれぞれヘルパーを帯同し、聴覚障がい者には手話通訳を手配した。また、ダウン症の児童1名が家族とともに参加した。WSでは、スティールパンの生演奏を聴いてその印象を粘土で造形表現し、その後、展示室で造形作品を鑑賞し、同楽器の生演奏による3曲を聴いてどの曲が造形作品のイメージと合うと思うか、対話鑑賞を行った。音楽を聴いてそのイメージを粘土で造形表現する活動では、希望があった晴眼者はアイマスクをつけて取り組んだ。制作された作品には、楽器の音色に由来すると考えられる造形表現上の共通点が見られた。展示室では、美術館の許可を得て楽器を持ち込み生演奏を行うと共に、視覚障がい者が手袋をして造形作品に触れ、その感触についての情報を他の参加者に提供した。また、聴覚障がい者はオンテナ（音をからだで感じるユーザインタフーイス：富士通）を用いると共に、直接楽器に触れてその振動を感じて活動に参加した。活動後にアンケートを行い、また、参加した障がい者及びスティールパン奏者にインタビューを行った。今後、その分析をふまえ、ユニバーサルな音楽・美術鑑賞プログラムとしてその成果を社会に発信する予定である。
