项目摘要

2021年度は、「1930年代以降、監獄教誨はいかに展開・変容したのか」という課題のもと、とくに昭和期に焦点をあて、①史料収集・現地調査、②研究成果発表（A論文執筆、B学会発表）を中心に研究活動を行なった。また、③同課題と深く関連する最新の研究成果について書評を発表した。①では、旧奈良監獄での現地調査、上田市立上田図書館での史料収集等を実施した。②Aについては、論文「「悪」と統治の思想史をどのように描くか」を発表し、これまでの研究を総説すると同時に、本研究課題が構想する「悪」の思想史研究の方法と全体像を考察した。②Bについては、（1）真宗大谷派教誨師・篤志面接委員会において、「監獄教誨の歴史から考える、真宗教誨の可能性」と題する講演を行なった。近現代日本の監獄教誨史全体を概観した上で、そのなかで浄土真宗が果した役割と、その歴史が日本の矯正政策史のなかで有する意義と可能性について考察を試みた。（2）日本宗教史懇話会サマーセミナーでは、「近代日本の監獄教誨史をどのように描くか」と題して発表を行なった。通史的研究が未だ存在しない近代日本の監獄教誨の通史を、どのように描くことができるか、研究史への新しい視座と議論の方向性を提示しながら、問題提起を試みた。（3）「仏教と近代」研究会では、近藤俊太郎『親鸞とマルクス主義：闘争・イデオロギー・普遍性』（法藏館、2021年）の書評者として登壇した。本研究課題の立場から問題提起を行うことで、近代日本宗教史研究の方法論を中心に、今後の研究の方向性を再確認することができた。③については、本研究課題と深く関わる最新の研究として、赤司友徳『監獄の近代：行政機構の確立と明治社会』（九州大学出版会、2020年）の書評を執筆した。明治期の監獄をめぐる制度史的研究を新たに切り拓いた同書の書評を通じて、本研究課題の立場と意義について、考察を深めることができた。

In 2021, we will conduct research activities in the center of China, such as: "Prison education since the 1930s has been developed,""Focus on the issue,""Collection of historical materials,""Field investigation," and "Presentation of research results (A thesis writing, B society presentation)." The latest research results on the same topic are presented in the book review. (1) On-site investigation of old Nara prison, collection of historical materials of Ueda Municipal Ueda Library, etc. 2. The paper "The History of Thought of Governance" is presented in the paper. At the same time, the method of studying the history of thought of this research topic is investigated. (2) A lecture on the topic "History of Prison Education, Possibility of Shinsho Education" was given by Shinsho Otani School Teacher Atsushi to the Committee. The entire history of prison education in modern Japan can be reviewed, the results of the war between Shinji and Shinji, and the significance and possibility of the history of Japan's corrective policy can be examined and tested. (2) The Japanese Religious History Association will discuss the topic of "The History of Prison Education in Modern Japan" and "The History of Prison Education in Modern Japan." The study of general history has not yet existed. The general history of prison education in modern Japan has been described. The new view of research history has been discussed. The direction of discussion has been suggested. (3) The book reviewer of the "Modern Education" Research Association, Shuntaro Kondo,"Pro-luan-rule-ism: Confrontation·I--·Universality"(Dharakuen, 2021) The position of this research topic is raised, the methodology of modern Japanese religious history research is centered, and the direction of future research is reconfirmed. 3. Author of the book review "Prison in Modern Times: Establishment of Administrative Organizations and Meiji Society"(Kyushu University Press, 2020). The research on the history of prison system in Meiji period is new, and the position and significance of this research topic are discussed.
