项目摘要

昨年度までの研究成果を踏まえ、日本語、スペイン語、英語での発表や執筆作業に取り組んだ。グローバル、リージョナル、ローカルな空間のなかで「先住民性」がいかに生み出されているのかを具体的に記述するための３つのキーワードのうち、まず「環境」については日本語で学会発表を行い、環境保全対策としてコスタリカで法制化されている「生態系サービスへの支払い（PES）」が「先住民であること」をエンパワーする仕組みとしても機能していることを指摘した。次に「土地」については日本語での発表を行い、論稿を執筆・投稿した（査読を経て掲載決定済み）。論稿では、先住民居住区の土地の所有権・占有権を回復しようとする運動がFacebook上で展開されていることを報告し、オンラインでの住民との個別のやり取りを踏まえて詳しく考察することで、より正当な「先住民」の定義をめぐる住民間でのコンフリクト（例: 人類学者らの研究によって報告されてきた母系クランのみを「先住民であること」の必要条件とみる者と、このような要素的な定義に意義を唱える者との対立）が生じていることなどを指摘した。そして「食文化」については日本語と英語で学会発表を行った。その後、英語での発表内容を展開させ、「無形文化遺産化」という新たな視点を加えて考察し直した論稿をスペイン語で執筆した。この論稿はスペイン語圏の研究者たちとの共著書籍に収載予定である（出版予定）。さらに、人類学と民族誌についての入門書Introducing Anthropology: A Graphic Guideの翻訳作業に共訳者１名と共に取り組み、翻訳書『人類学』を出版した。また、文学的な記述としての民族誌を思索したアメリカ合衆国の人類学者オスカー・ルイスに関する書籍の監訳作業に他２名の監訳者と共に取り組んだ（出版予定）。
