项目摘要

本研究では，友人関係における動機づけの指標の一つである社会的達成目標が学校適応を予測する働きについて検討した。前年度までの研究では，主に中学生を対象として検討を進めたため，今年度は，高校生を対象とした。さらに，縦断デザインによる調査や準実験デザインによる介入授業を実施し，社会的達成目標と学校適応の関係についてより精緻な知見を得ることを目指した。具体的には，以下の二点について重点的に検討した。第一に，社会的達成目標と学校適応との関連について縦断デザインによる調査を実施した。分析の結果，社会的熟達接近目標は，学校生活満足度の中でも，周囲からのからかいや不適応感を表す「被侵害」を低減する働きを有していた。また，1時点目の被侵害が，2時点目の社会的熟達接近目標を低減する効果も確認された。社会的遂行接近目標については，1時点目の社会的遂行接近目標が2時点目の被侵害を高める効果や学校の成員からの承認経験を表す「承認」が2時点目の社会的遂行接近目標を高める傾向が確認された。第二に，単位制高校の生徒を対象とした心理教育が社会的達成目標や学校適応に与える影響について検討した。介入授業を選択した生徒（介入群）と選択しなかった生徒（統制群）の結果を比較した。その結果，社会的達成目標，学校適応ともに大きく変化する結果は得られなかった。しかしながら，介入群の生徒において，既存の友人関係の維持や相手を傷付けないことを志向する「社会的熟達回避目標」が変化する傾向が得られた。上記のように，本年度は，高校生を対象に，社会的達成目標が学校適応を予測する働きについて因果関係に重点を置きながら検討した。その結果，社会的達成目標が学校適応を予測する働きが一部ではあるものの，確認された。したがって，社会的達成目標の観点から学校適応について議論が可能になる新たな知見が得られたものと考えられる。
