项目摘要

本研究で新たに論証した点は以下の二点である。一つは1950年代から1960年代にかけて、日本有数の地場産業に成長し、1990年代に衰退期を迎えた横浜製スカーフについて、デザインを第一とした製造現場の意識が産業の盛衰を招いたこと。二点目は、先行研究では語られてこなかった横浜スカーフのデザインから、第二次世界大戦後の国民国家制度を基盤に、各国間でグローバルに展開した文化を、その政治的・経済的背景とともに考察したこと。この二点を明らかにするために行った調査研究の主なものをまとめる。①1950年代の海外意匠模倣問題およびその防止対策の調査。②横浜発の独創的デザイン創作のための試みがあったことを示す資料の明示、その検証。③1950年代から60年代、世界市場を巡った横浜スカーフのデザインの整理、分類、統計化、および表象の分析。④「日本らしさ」を表象した横浜スカーフの調査、その考察。⑤アフリカに渡った横浜スカーフの特徴、英国貿易商社の関与についての論証。⑥1970年代から90年代、日本に席巻したブランド・ライセンス契約による横浜スカーフの調査、その背景の考察。本年度は、研究成果の出版を目指し、博士論文「デザイン至上主義がもたらした産地の盛衰-1950年代～1990年代横浜スカーフ産業研究-」に2018年度から調査した内容をまとめ、お茶の水女子大学に提出した。研究成果の一部は学術論文２本（意匠学会『デザイン理論』、76号とデザイン史学研究会『デザイン史学』、17号に掲載）に発表した。

The results of the research were presented in two academic papers ("Theory of Science" of the Institute of Ideology,"History of Science" of the Institute of History, No. 76, No. 17).
