项目摘要

所有権関係、全体部分関係、親族関係を中心とする様々な関係が、一般的に所有と呼ばれる一つのカテゴリーを構成する通言語的な傾向の背後にある原理を明らかにすることを目的に研究を行った。当該年度は、感染症の影響により計画していたチェコ共和国におけるフィールドワークを実施することができなかった為、本研究の理論的な基盤の構築を行うと同時に、これまでの研究の成果を博士論文にまとめる作業を行った。本研究が提示する理論的な立場に関して特に重要なのは、以下の2点である。すなわち、(1)本研究が、これまでの所有に関する類型論的な研究は、記述に用いられる概念が不明確なものであるために、有効な一般化を提示することができていないことを指摘するものである点、(2)意味の記述と一般化を行う類型論の営みが、概念を明確化することなしには成立し得ないものであることを指摘する点である。(2)の概念の明確化に関する主張は次の通りである。すなわち、(2a)類型論的な記述と一般化という目的のために必要となる概念の明確化は、概念が体系を成すものであると前提する立場（例えば、百科事典的意味論）を採らずには成功し得ない。(2b)概念の明確化は、言語記号の振る舞いの観察と形而上学的な概念の分析という二つの方法を組み合わせることによって初めて十分に行われ得る。これまでに行ったチェコ語の所有構文に関する具体的な研究を、以上の理論的な立場の妥当性を示すための具体的な分析として位置付ける形で博士論文にまとめる作業を行った。
