项目摘要

2020年4月以降は新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大に伴い、海外渡航調査が困難となったため、投稿論文の執筆や、国際会議・国内学会における口頭発表が中心となった。同月半ばには、院生主体の小規模なオンライン研究会である、東南アジア地域研究若手研究者の会を立ち上げた。第1回目の発表者として登壇し、「中スラウェシ・サマ人の風の暦の集落間比較：バンガイ諸島域4集落の事例から」として調査報告をおこなった。この課題は、オンラインで実施された国際会議The 1st JESSD Symposiumにおいて最優秀論文賞に選定された。さらに、自然科学的なデータの分析を加えて発展させるかたちで、2020年12月の東南アジア学会第102回研究大会での研究報告として発表した。これは、研究計画における小課題①「サマ人漁師のライフヒストリー（移住・漁撈経験）に伴う漁撈知を明らかにする」に該当する．2020年6月から11月にかけては、前年度までの調査から得られたデータをもとに、投稿論文の執筆・修正に集中し、2021年1月に『東南アジア研究』に掲載された。これは、研究計画における小課題①のうち、漁撈知の研究業績に該当する．また、国立民族学博物館が主催する2020年度みんぱく若手研究者奨励セミナーの報告者として2020年11月に口頭発表をおこなった。これは、研究計画における小課題②「現代のサマ人を取りまく環境の変化と適応としての生存戦略の解明」における仮説に該当する。今年度の研究活動においては，新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大状況を省みて、研究計画の変更が余儀なくされたが、コロナ禍においておこなうことのできる研究活動を模索したことで、博士論文の構想や、今後の研究を発展させるための糸口など、多くの学びを得ることもできた。
