项目摘要

本年度は，１）メーカーと小売の垂直的な取引関係において，すでに製品化されたものからスタートするのではなく，メーカーの生産行動に関する意思決定を含めるモデル化が現実のデータと合わせた場合に妥当であるかどうかを検証した．そのために，入手していたメーカーの生産設備データをまず詳細に分析したところ，地域ごとに生産許容能力の変化は時間を追って多様であることが明らかになった．そこで，地域ごとに各メーカーの市場を区分して，各メーカーの直前までの牛乳販売による利益幅が次期の生産許容能力の拡張に影響しているかを検証した．分析の結果，メーカーのマージンの拡大は，全体としては生産許容能力の縮小につながっているか，あるいは，ほぼ影響していないという結論を得た．生産許容能力の拡張に一定以上の費用がかかるのでなければ，マージンの増大はその商品の生産を増やす方向に影響するはずであるが，それとは反対の結果を得ている．そのため，生産許容能力については，すでに飽和していたために，費用をかけてでも縮小するほうが適していると企業が判断した可能性が示唆された．このように，需要が減退傾向にある産業では，メーカーの利益率の増加が設備投資水準をへらす方向に動くことがあるという実証的な結果を得た．続いて，２）小売店間のカテゴリーをまたいだ競争を考慮した利益最適化行動に関して分析するモデルを現実の小売店における販売データを用いて推定することを行った．その過程において，使用するデータの変動がモデルのすべてのパラメータを必ずしも十分に変化させるほどの変化を持っていない可能性が生じたため，モデルの再検討を行っている．

In the process, the possibility of changing the process is generated by changing the process.
