项目摘要

本研究の目的は、東日本大震災および福島原発事故による避難者の「故郷喪失」感情に、避難者の移動過程と各自治体の支援格差が与える影響を明らかにすることである。東日本大震災および福島原発事故による避難者は、全国47都道府県1,040の市区町村（2018年4月現在）に所在しているものの、避難者への支援内容は各自治体に一任されたため、支援格差が生じたことが先行研究にて指摘されている。本研究では、避難者の移動時期や移動数などのデータを各自治体の支援内容と比較し、支援格差や、支援縮小の時期が避難者動態に与える影響の解明を目指した。加えて、フィールドワークと聞き取り調査を中心とした質的調査を丹念に実施した。また、本研究の主要概念である「故郷喪失」の理論研究を並行して実施することで、実証データだけを用いた事例研究だけではなく、強いられた移動がもたらす人びとの生活や感情に与える種々の影響の統合化を目指した。しかしながら、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の影響により、フィールドワークや聞き取り調査を実施することが困難な時期もあった。そのため、データサイエンスの手法を活用した避難者動態分析など、社会情勢に合わせて柔軟に研究を実施した。さらに、国内外にて公表されている東日本大震災をテーマとした先行研究を対象としてテキストマイニング技術を用いたクラスター解析を実施した結果、震災からの時間経過ととともに発表される研究内容に変化があることや、世界各国による震災研究の特徴をまとめた。本年度は本課題の最終年度であるため、これまでの研究を取りまとめ2報の論文として発表した。
