佐太神社先代宮司朝山晧氏（1895～1957）の出雲国に関する研究業績の調査の一環として、朝山晧氏が書写に関わった椎の本花叔編『雲陽人物誌』本文について引き続き検討を行い、草稿本の形跡が認められる島根県立図書館蔵本をはじめとした諸本に基づく校本作成の準備作業を継続した。佐太神社文書のデータベース化作業に基づき、佐太神社宮司その他神職の人々による和歌詠草を中心に、出雲歌壇での活動状況がうかがわれる資料の内容分析を継続して実施した。歴代の佐太神社宮司の和歌詠草のうち、朝山晧氏が『朝山芳房報賽百首和歌集』（昭和28年〈1953〉11月）と題して活字翻刻されている朝山（勝部）芳房『百首和歌』や、蘆田耕一氏が『重要文化財 佐太神社－佐太神社の総合的研究－』において翻刻紹介された『神始言吹草』（正徳元年〈1711〉6月刊）など、佐太神社および周辺地域の神職、松江藩家老、伯耆国人や僧、京・大阪在住の著名歌人の歌が含まれる資料により、出雲歌壇での人的交流の実態について引き続き考察した。また、さまざまな年代の江戸期出雲歌壇の活動状況がうかがえる資料として、昭和初期に松平直亮氏から佐太神社を含む松江市内の寺社に寄贈された松江藩主家に関わる古典籍等の佐太神社文書以外についての調査・資料収集、内容分析を行うために情報を整理した。これまで継続して行ってきた作業により、本研究で扱う資料の全体像の把握と、検討の中心に据える資料の絞り込みが可能となった。また、絞り込んだ資料の個別の分析を通して、佐太神社文書から見出せる結果を考察し、佐太神社文書以外の資料も検討材料に加え、既に構築した「江戸後期出雲歌壇を構成する歌人データベース」と照らし合わせて、出雲歌壇での活動と人的交流の実態の解明につなげた。
