15世紀イングランドの教会改革における大陸由来の女性神秘家の著作の翻訳とその影響

本年度は、大陸の神秘思想が、中世末のイングランドにおいていかに伝播・受容されたかを問う、本課題の中心的テクストである、Mechthild of HackebornのLiber specialis gratiaeの中英語訳、The Boke of Gostely Graceを含む写本、Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Bodley 220 の校訂本、The Boke of Gostely Grace: The Middle English Translation, A Critical Edition from Oxford, MS Bodley 220, ed. by Naoe Kukita Yoshikawa and Anne Mouron with the assistance of Mark Atherton, Exeter Medieval Texts and Studies (Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 2022)を刊行した。さらに、同Editionを主要な一次資料として、14－15世紀の神秘主義文学、及びこれに関連する幻視文学や聖人伝等へのMechthild とヘルフタ修道院の影響について、欧米の著名な研究者の協力を得、The Companion to the Boke of Gostely Grace: The Middle English Translation and its European Vernacular Contexts, ed. by Naoe Kukita Yoshikawa and Anne Mouron (Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, forthcoming 2023)の編集し、統括を行っている。
