项目摘要

本プロジェクトの４年目に当たる2022年度は、研究成果公表のための作業を中心に行った。フェイズと転送領域に関する2021年度の研究をまとめた論文“On Minimal Yield and Form Copy: Evidence from East Asian Language”を GLOW in Asia XIII (アジア理論言語学会、香港中文大学、2022年8月7日、オンライン) にて、ワークショップ基調講演として発表した。この論文は、修正後に専門誌 The Linguistics Review (Mouton de Gruyter, Berlin) の特別号に掲載される予定である。また、日本語Wh句の焦点解釈を論じた論文“Wh-phrases as Genuine Focus Operators”に修正を加えて、論文集 Rich Descriptions and Simple Explanation in Language Structure and Acquisition (Oxford University Press, Oxford) に収録される最終稿を出版社に提出した。ラベル付け理論に関する研究も継続して行い、成果を国立台湾師範大学 (2022年7月23日、Distinguished Speaker Series、オンライン)、日本英語学会 (2022年11月6日、第40回大会特別講演、オンライン) にて発表した。後者の要旨は、JELS 40: 131-132に掲載されている。本年度は、プロジェクトのフェイズ理論およびラベル付け理論に関する成果を詳細に説明する著書の執筆に、最も多くの時間を割いた。約250ページの草稿が完成しており、最終的な修正を加えた後に、開拓社より最新英語学・言語学シリーズ第1巻『生成統語論の成果と課題』として刊行される予定である。
