项目摘要

第36回日本音声学会全国大会において、口頭発表「いわゆる複合動詞「山田の法則」の通時的説明の試み」を行なった。本発表では、複合動詞「山田の法則」が、音変化としての昇り核化に伴う無核化としても解釈可能であることを示し、上げ核から下げ核へのアクセント変化として、中輪諸体系や隠岐３型・中国内輪など周辺の諸体系が、降り核化ではなく昇り核化を経ている積極的な証拠となりうることを論じた。また、東日本の中輪式体系の周辺の上げ核的なアクセント形の体系として知られる山梨県奈良田方言と埼玉県東南部方言について、「山田の法則」が実証される後者が昇り核化を経た下げ核体系から下げ核の下降の１音節遅延という改新を経ているとも解釈可能なのに対し、前者は昇り核化を経ず上げ核体系が残存しているとする解釈も可能であることを、特に３音節名詞の無核化に着目して論じた。今年度の研究においては、まず、特に山浦玄嗣氏による「ケセン語」の詳細な記述分析を検討し、この体系が、東北地方における上げ核体系の残存という解釈を許すことを根拠として分析を行なったことが重要な着眼である。また、国立国語研究所の方言談話についての有償配布データを活用することにより、中央日本諸方言のアクセント体系の音声的実現にさまざまな変異があることを確認できた。上げ核体系からの核の音声的実現弁別体系の変化という構造主義的なアクセント変化の解釈に合致する観察結果を得ており、「内輪」「中輪」「外輪」という類型的な枠組みを脱した系統樹再建が可能であると考える。
