项目摘要

本年度は、既調査の明恵関係法談聞書類の内、重要性の高い資料から優先的に用例データベースの構築作業を中心に進めた。本研究は京都栂尾高山寺をはじめとする古刹寺院所蔵の原本調査が不可欠の基盤であるため、ここ数年のコロナ禍による原本調査の中断の影響は大きく、研究計画の優先順位を大きく変更せざるを得なかった。一方で、本年度よりコロナ禍が沈静化の兆しを見せ始めたことに加えて、原本所蔵機関の格別のご配慮により、部分的ながら数年ぶりに原本調査を再開することができた。本研究が中心に置く明恵房高弁（1173-1232）関係の聞書類は平安時代以来の書記言語規範から逸脱する要素を多く含む特異な存在であるが、特徴的な言語徴証は資料間や内部要素によって濃淡が著しい。本研究の目的は、その要因の解明を企図して、多様な明恵関係聞書類の性格を分析して「言語変種」とその「制約条件」とを客観的に帰納し、各条件下で言語比較を繰り返すことによって、鎌倉時代の書記言語に見る規範と弛緩との実態を実証的に記述することにある。本年度は、鎌倉時代書写の聞書資料で最大の言語量を誇る金澤文庫蔵「解脱門義聴集記」と同「華厳信種義聞集記」を研究の基軸としてデータベース化の方法の再検討と修正とを進めた。「解脱門義聴集記」「華厳信種義聞集記」は講説聞書類に属するものであるが、「聞書資料」には伝授聞書類の性格を持つ高山寺蔵「梅尾御物語」、同「真聞集」、同「伝受類集鈔」等がある。「梅尾御物語」「真聞集」は既に全文を電子テキスト化済みであり、「伝受類集鈔」については本年度改めての原本調査を実施した。この研究において、多様な明恵関係聞書類と周辺資料に確認される言語事実のデータベース化は重要な研究基盤となるため、データベースの構築方法についても適宜再検討を加えつつデータの拡充を進めた。
