项目摘要

本研究の目的は、キャリア教育、リクルート教育としての「ビジネス日本語」教育を、就職後の日本語ニーズの実態に対応した有効な内容のものにして、ビジネス日本語を含む、日本語教育の充実化に寄与することである。そのために、日本の大学における「ビジネス日本語」教育の実態を把握するとともに、海外及び国内の、日本語を使用する職場環境での、実際の日本語使用状況や必要とされる日本語スキルを、就職して働く外国人の側からと、採用する雇用側からと、双方からフォロー調査し、その結果を分析、考察することを目指している。2019年度は、「ビジネス日本語」関連の教材が過去から現在に至るまで、社会背景が変わるにつれてどのように変化してきたかについて調べた。そして、日本語使用環境の職場と、そこに就職して働く外国人についての調査として、ベトナムの日本関連企業と、そこに就職して働く元留学生及び本国の日本語学科・学部出身者について、日本語使用状況等を調査した。2020年度は、コロナで予定していた調査ができなかったが、近年増加している技能実習生を受け入れている企業のニーズと現状、および外国人実習生の日本語使用状況と日本語学習支援等について、受け入れ企業及び技能実習生管理団体と協議し調査を行った。2021年度は、コロナが落ち着いた時期に、外国人を受け入れている企業の技能実習生担当者に実習生の日本語使用状況等についてインタビューを行い、実習生にアンケート調査を行った。2022年度も、コロナが落ち着いた時期に、ジェトロ和歌山と和歌山大学が主催となり、「企業と留学生の交流会」を開催した。そこで、和歌山の企業６社に、「日本の各企業で求められる外国人の資質や日本語能力について」、「高度外国人材の採用実績があるか、採用計画があるか」や、「外国人留学生のインターンシップを受け入れる意思があるか」などについて聞き取りを行った。
