本年度はまず長江流域だけでなく嶺南にも目をむけ、春秋後期に抬頭した越国や、戦国後期の史料に初出する百越、およびその百越を統一秦が制圧し、中国の王朝の支配を嶺南にまで拡大させたことにより、秦漢交代期に誕生することとなった南越国にかんする史資料や先行研究の整理・検討を行った。越については史料的制約から諸説乱立するところが少なからずあり、その起源についても議論百出の状態にある。なかには越をオーストロネシア系諸族に連ねようとする観点もあり、春秋呉越の言語をオーストロネシア語族と同源とみなして解釈した研究もなされているが、これについては倭にかんする論著のなかで、漢籍に散見する呉越語の語彙はオーストロネシア的ではなく、文化内容は似ていても言語のうえでは異なるという指摘もあることが分かった。また、甲骨文をもとに、越は殷代にはすでに国家形成を進め、中国の王朝とも深い関わりをもっていたとする説もかねてより提唱されており、様々な角度から批判されてきたが、近年の古文字学の成果と照らしあわせたところ、この説はそもそも成立しえないことが分かった。つぎに、先行研究には南越が秦漢交代期の楚の影響を受けているという指摘もあることから、関連する史資料や先行研究の整理・検討も行った。秦漢交代期の楚については、馬王堆帛書「五星占」に記された「張楚」の語をもとに注目が高まり、以来その重要性が強調されてきたが、近年では伝世文献を軸に、「張楚」にたいする従来の解釈は過大評価であるとの指摘もなされている。ただし、「張楚」の語は「五星占」のほかにも馬王堆帛書「刑徳」や益陽兔子山遺址八号井出土の觚など、いずれも湖南省から出土した複数の出土史料にみられ、当時の当該地域においては一定の重要性をもった語であったとは考えられる。そこで「五星占」や「刑徳」の史料的性質に留意しながら、「張楚」の位置づけについて再検討を試みた。

The first part of this paper is to discuss the influence of the Qin and Han Dynasties on the historical data of South Vietnam. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Zhang Chu was recorded in Mawangdui Silk Book "Five-Star Zhan". The importance of Zhang Chu was emphasized. In recent years, Zhang Chu was recorded in the historical literature. The words "Zhang Chu" and "Wuxing Zhan" were used in the silk book "Xing De" of Mawangdui, and the unearthed historical materials from the No. 8 well of Rabbit Mountain Site in Yiyang were unearthed in Hunan Province. At that time, the importance of the region was certain. On the nature of the historical materials of "Five Star Zhan" and "Xing De", we should pay attention to the position of "Zhang Chu" and try to discuss it again.
