本研究の計画に従って、前年度に引き続き、研究作業を行った。第１に、ドイツ契約法の現代化の過程の分析を継続した。本作業に必要な文献を収集し、EUの現代化指令、消費者権利指令、オンライン・デジタルコンテンツ契約、動産売買指令等のドイツ法への影響に着目した分析を継続した。第２に、契約法的な観点から、インターネット取引の法的構造の解明を行い、プラットフォーム仲介者の法的責任のあり方についての分析を継続した。この問題に関する研究ネットワークを形成し、関係文献を収集し、分析を行った。第３に、ドイツ不正競争防止法の分析と翻訳作業を公表した。次のような具体的作業を継続した。①ドイツ契約法の現代化現象の分析を、ドイツ契約法と消費者法との関係、とりわけ私法理論との関係に着目して行った。これらの成果を前提とし比較法な知見を生かして日本法の分析を継続した。②ドイツ契約法の現代化現象としてヨーロッパ的なレベルでの展開を理解するために、『ヨーロッパ契約法〔第２版〕』の翻訳作業に継続して取り組んでいる。③デジタルプラットフォーム取引に関する問題、とくに責任の理論問題について検討を行った。その成果の一部について消費者法研究において公表し、これに関連する比較法研究を組織した。④ドイツ法やEU法の最新の動向に関する情報収集のためにマックス・プランク外国私法・国際私法研究所およびヨーロッパ法研究所（ELI)でのオンライン講演会および研究会に参加し、それらを通じて人的ネットワークを発展させた。ブッシュ教授との共同研究作業を継続している。
