项目摘要

現在、環境低負荷型社会へと変化することが強く求められている。そして同時に、企業は経営戦略として社会的責任(CSR)に基づく行動を選択する傾向がある。そうしたCSR行動は多様な産業に拡大・浸透し、多くの国の政府が自国の競争政策を立案・運用する際に無視できないほど大きな影響力をもつようになっている。本研究では、寡占企業の戦略的CSR行動が「市場の失敗」による厚生の歪みを緩和し、そして同時に利潤を上昇させる状況を解明しながら、市場形態に応じた環境税の望ましい水準とその在り方について理論的な基礎を固める。さらに、環境税と企業の戦略的CSR行動が併存する状況での望ましい競争法の適用について理論研究の蓄積と基盤強化を進める。令和４年度において、主な研究実績は以下の内容である。[1]株式市場と生産物市場を融合させたモデルを構築し、CSRを志向する株主が企業の意志決定に果たす役割を理論的に考察した。その成果（Tomoda and Ouchida(2023)）は広島大学経済学部のDiscussion Paper Seriesに収録されている。今後、より一層の拡充をして国際的に高く評価される査読付き研究誌へ投稿し、掲載されるように努める。また、[2]クールノー複占市場において環境税が導入される状況において、戦略的CSRに取り組む企業の合併や共同研究開発が経済厚生にどのような影響を与えるのかについてのモデル分析を進めた。また基礎分析を踏まえつつ更なる精緻な考察を進めた。しかし、この分析は、より一層の精緻化した分析・議論も含めた拡充を図る必要がある。研究成果は、国際的に高く評価される査読付き研究誌へ投稿し、掲載されるように努める。
