本研究の目的は「貯蔵不可能な財市場を対象とし, その市場参加者が有するリスクに対する態度の変化が市場成果(特に価格の確率分布)に与える影響の解明」です. 2021年度に引き続いて2022年度も海上運賃(shipping freight rate, Panamax)を対象の中心として, その価格変動の特徴が生成される構造に関する分析を進めました. ここでは, その主な成果の一部を説明します. Kavussanos (1996), Kavussanos (2003), Alizadeh and Nomikos (2011)等に代表される海上運賃の変動に関する研究の系譜においては, stochastic volatilityを表現する時系列モデルを前提としてその分析が実行されています. これに対して, 本研究では, 海上運賃の平均が不確実に変動すること(stochastic mean)により, 観測上においてはstochastic volatilityモデルが適合しているように見える可能性に注目しました. 2021年までの分析に基づくと, (i) stochastic volatilityが完全に否定されることは無いものの, それが海上運賃の変動へ与える影響は大きくなさそう, (ii) stochastic volatility と比較して, stochastic meanが海上運賃の変動へ与える影響がより大きい, と考えられました. そこで, 2022年度には, そのstochastic meanを生成する構造の解明を試みました. そこで, 以下の3種類の要因, (1) 海上輸送の需給構造, (2) 海上輸送市場への参加者たちが形成する将来予測, (3) 海上輸送市場における均衡へ至る調整過程, に注目しました. この研究成果の一部を2022IAMEにおいて研究報告しました.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the impact of market participants 'attitudes on market outcomes (especially the accuracy distribution) in the storage impossibility market. In 2021 and 2022, the shipping freight rate (Panamax) is the center of the image, and the characteristics of the movement are generated. A description of the main results. Kavussanos (1996), Kavussanos (2003), Alizadeh and Nomikos (2011) represent the genealogy of studies related to the movement of offshore oil and gas, the time series of stochastic volatility, and the analysis of the time series. In this study, the probability of the average stochastic volatility of offshore transportation is investigated. Based on the analysis in 2021, (i) stochastic volatility is completely negated, and there is no doubt that the changes and impacts of offshore transportation will be significant.(ii) stochastic volatility and comparison, the stochastic mean that the changes and impacts of offshore transportation will be significant. In 2022, the stochastic mean was generated and the structure was explained. There are three main causes: (1) demand structure of offshore transportation, (2) future prediction of the formation of participants in the offshore transportation market, and (3) adjustment process of the equilibrium of the offshore transportation market.
