今日，地域の再生・活性化のためにビジネスをデザインし実現することが求められている。本研究は，地域ビジネス，とくに都市におけるビジネスを実際にデザインすることによって，ビジネスモデルデザインの方法論（モデルとプロセス）について検討し提案する。本研究では，地域や都市のビジネスを，関係するオペラントリソースを存分に活用し，さまざま主体間の関係をつくり価値をつくり出すビジネス＝「関係性のビジネス」と捉えている。そのため，従来の事業性を目的とするビジネスとは異なる視点に立ってデザインする必要があると考えている。令和４年度は，前年度からの事例調査・研究や地域・都市ビジネスのデザインの実践，「関係性のビジネス」のビジネスモデルとデザインプロセスについてのさらなる検討に加えて，「関係性のビジネス」をデザインするためのフレームワークの検討とそのツール（チームで共同利用できるエディタ）の実装・試作に取り組んだ。地域・都市ビジネスのデザイン実践としては，研究分担者を中心に大阪市船場地区を中心としたサスティナブルなファッションビジネスに取り組んだ。その成果の一部は，新型コロナ禍のため延期されていた「大阪船場コレクション2022」（令和４年５月開催）において「学生によるリメイクファッションとダンスのエンタテインメント・ショー」を企画・実施し（https://semba-osaka.com/osaka-semba-collection2022/），そこでの成果に基づいて，令和４年９月に小冊子『つなラボ船場ブック』を発行した。
