项目摘要

本研究では、大学と地域社会との共同・共働により生涯学習の場面で、地域住民のために新鮮で十分に吟味、加工されたSuccessful Agingにかかわる情報をジェロントロジー教育のプログラムを通じFourth Ageに提供しようとするものである。その教材は、生涯学習の場で役立てる方法とそのシステムを構築・展開する中で、柔軟で多様な社会関係資源を地域に創出することで、地域の高齢者の心身の健康を向上させ、地域の高齢者の「プロダクティブ・エイジング（Productive Aging）」を醸成することであり、高齢者が精神的にも肉体的にも健康を保持し、個人の生活においても社会に対する貢献においても生産的な生活を送ることを目指した社会科学的研究成果を収集した。今回University of Texas Health Science Center at San AntonioとUTSA East Asia Instituteの協力のもとに、プログラム展開への方向性を模索した研究知見から、その成果をプログラムに盛り込んだ。今回は、大学と連携関係にあるH市の協力のもと「プロダクティブ・エイジング（Productive Aging）」といったFourth Ageの肯定的高齢者像と、新たなる生活文化生成による、社会関係資本創出を想定した、ICT学習とその利用による生涯学習を行うことで、ジェロントロジー教育のプログラムの展開されることを目標とした。そのプログラムは、地域の高齢者に対して対面での講義を通じて提供されるものであり、毎年、本学学生がプログラムの受講者へのサポートとして参加し、寄り添った丁寧な指導が好評となっていたが、今回の講座はコロナ禍であり、日野市のシニア世代を対象に「ウェブシニアパソコンカレッジ＠実践女子大学人生100年時代の新たなシニアへの変身」をウェブ講座形式で開催した。
