令和4年度は、①英独の文献調査に基づいた学会発表、②令和3年度に実施した家庭的保育者の意識調査結果に関する学会発表を行い、③国際研究集会を開催した。①文献調査に基づいた学会発表：研究代表者の椨は、保育学会第75回大会において、イギリス労働党政権下で家庭的保育が施設型保育と同等に位置づけられた過程と要因を検討し、地域ごとに組織された家庭的保育者の互助ネットワークが国の質保証制度確立に果たした役割の重要性を明らかにした。研究分担者の小玉は、ジェンダー史学会第19回大会において「幼児教育と母なるもの」と題した発表を行い、ドイツ社会における母性と保育制度整備の関連について歴史的検討を行った。②家庭的保育者の意識調査に関する学会発表：調査は、外国にルーツを持つ子どもを保育した経験の有無と多文化状況のもとで行う保育に対する考えを問うものであった。椨と研究分担者の藪中は、欧州幼児教育学会（EECERA；グラスゴー市ストラスクライド大学）において、生産年齢人口の減少を背景として、家庭的保育の多文化化が進んでいる状況を報告した。また、国際幼児教育学会第43回大会（オンライン）において、家庭的保育者の困難感を取り上げ、多文化保育の課題を提示した。③国際研究集会：東京大学教育学部附属CEDEPとの共催で、ロンドン・アーリー・イヤーズ財団の経営責任者June O’Sullivan氏による国際講演会（オンライン、同時通訳付き）を開催し、ロンドンの困難地域における保育の多文化状況、それに対する実践的配慮、ならびに社会的資源としての保育の重要性について語ってもらい、参加者との交流を深めた。資料はCEDEPのホーム・ページに公開した。令和3年度に行った研究集会（グルニエ氏による講演「多文化社会イギリスにおける幼児教育の変革」）の記録に解題を付けて、聖徳大学教職研究科紀要『教職実践研究』に収めた。
