项目摘要

昨年度に引き続きコロナ禍により短期大学卒業生へのインタビュー調査の実施が困難な状況が続いたため、量的調査である卒業生調査結果を用いてコロナ禍による学修成果等の評価に関する比較分析を実施し、研究報告を行った。本報告では、短期大学に「2018-2019年度」もしくは「2019-2020年度」に在学し卒業生調査の卒後1年目回答者となった卒業生のうち、卒業生調査2020と2021両方に参加した短期大学に分析対象を絞っている。上記条件に合う短期大学24校のうち、「2018-2019年度在学＋卒業生調査2020（卒後1年目）」では770名が該当し、「2019-2020年度在学＋卒業生調査2021（卒後1年目）」では825名だった。前者はコロナ禍による教育への影響がほぼない層である一方で、後者は2年生の際にコロナ禍の影響を受けた層であるが、両者において学修成果を示す知識能力の役立ち（変化）や短大教育の総合満足度を示す設問で差がみられるか検証を行った。その結果、総合満足度では有意差はなく、学修成果設問では「異なる文化や考え方を持つ人々を理解する力」や「自己の認識」のみ有意差が確認されたが、「他の人と協力する力」「専門分野や学科の知識」「一般的な教養」「コミュニケーション能力」といった多くの項目では差が確認されなかった。この結果、量的調査結果を見る限り、コロナ禍による教育の差によって、学修成果等の短期大学教育の成果実感には影響を及ぼしていないと考えられる。ただし、卒業生調査への回答は調査依頼数の2割に満たないことを考慮に入れると、短期大学に対して肯定的な評価をする層が多いなど回答自体に偏りが生じている可能性も否定できない。今後の分析の方向性としては、年度別や地域や専門分野別の比較検討に加えて、複数回参加した短期大学における卒後年数による回答変化など、継続的に検証を行う必要がある。
