项目摘要

高齢者がタッチインタフェースを操作する際の認知負荷の大きさといったモバイル端末利用の阻害要因を究明することは、高齢者にとって使いやすいモバイルラーニングシステムやモバイル端末を利用した日常生活の支援システムを開発するうえで必要とされる重要な課題である。本研究は、高齢者のワーキングメモリ容量個人差がタッチインタフェースの認知負荷に及ぼす影響について明らかにすることを目的としている。そのために、高齢者のワーキングメモリ容量の測定を中心とした認知機能の測定、及びタッチインタフェースの認知負荷を検討するための実験を行い、得られたデータを基に検討を行っている。本年度も、開発した高齢者によるタッチインタフェース利用実験のプロトタイププログラムによる高齢者のタッチインタフェース利用実験を継続的に行う予定であった。しかし、コロナ禍により高齢者実験参加者の募集が困難であったことから、若年者を中心に実験を実施した。若年者の実験でも、高齢者と同等のタッチインタフェース課題を実施した。昨年度までに収集したデータについては、高齢者と若年者のワーキングメモリの因子不変性について分析を行った。その結果ワーキングメモリの記憶因子、処理因子について高齢者と若年者間で因子不変性が確認された。この結果は本研究で用いているワーキングメモリスパンの測定法の妥当性を示す結果であった。この分析結果について学術誌に発表した。
