项目摘要

本年度は，主として矛盾する陰謀論を同時に信じるという，陰謀論者にしばしば見られる傾向について，その背景要因の検討を行った。Wood et al. (2012) では，核となる陰謀論（政府は情報を隠蔽する）の影響を統制すると，矛盾する陰謀論間の相関関係は消失することが示されているが，著者らは，日本人参加者においては核となる陰謀論の影響を統制しても，矛盾する陰謀論同士で正の相関が残ることを明らかにした（眞嶋他, 2021）。この結果について，更なる検討を行い，矛盾する陰謀論の同時信奉に対して分析的思考は負の，直感的思考は正の影響を与えており，分析的に思考する個人は矛盾する陰謀論を同時には信じないこと，直感的思考者は同時に信奉する傾向があることが明らかとなった。また，コロナウィルス感染下における各種のワクチン接種意図の規定因に関する研究を行い，Covid-19 ワクチンに対しては陰謀論が影響するが，その他のワクチン接種（インフルエンザ，HPV）に対しては陰謀論は影響しないこと，HPV 以外では国家や専門家に対する信頼も重要な役割を果たすことが明らかとなった。また，５項目からなる陰謀論的心性尺度 (Conspiracy Mentality Questionnaire, CMQ; Bruder et al., 2013)の日本語版の整備を継続して行った。本尺度は原著では1因子構造であったが，本研究の結果では相互に強く相関するものの２因子構造を持つことが明らかとなった。しかしながら，因子構造の違いの文化差の問題はあるものの，実用上は単因子構造を持つものとして扱うことができるものと考えられ，現在はこの成果を学術論文として公表することを目指して準備中である。
