人は同じ文を繰り返し読むと，次第にその内容を真実と評定するようになる（真実性効果）。本研究では，１）実験協力者に文を繰り返し能動的に読むことを求めずとも真実性効果を生じさせる実験パラダイムを開発し，２）真実性効果を現実場面に応用可能とするための基礎的知見を蓄積することを目的とした。4年目は，昨年度に引き続き，絵画的真実性効果に及ぼす妨害課題の影響について検討した。実験は2段階で構成された。観察段階において，参加者は，ランダムに選ばれた記銘項目（実験1：3ケタの数値，実験2：7つの文字列を提示された後，文または絵画刺激10種類を一画面に1種ずつ， 200ms（実験1）または1s（実験2）間提示され，最後に記銘項目の報告が求められた。各参加者はこれを3回繰り返した。参加者の課題は数値または文字列を声にだして繰り返しながら，画面を観察することであった。文刺激は，対象Aと対象Bの特定の事象に関する大小関係を表現した内容（例えば，「イヌはネコよりも左利きの割合が多い」）であり，絵画刺激は対象Aと対象Bの大小関係のみを絵画的に表した画像（例えば，イヌの画像とネコの画像の中間に，イヌがネコよりも大きいことを表す不等号を配置した画像）であった。続く真実性評定段階において参加者は，先行提示した文または絵画と適合的な文（例えば，「イヌはネコよりも左利きの割合が多い」），不適合的な文（例えば，「イヌはネコよりも左利きの割合が少ない」），あるいは，評定段階で初めて提示される新奇文について，真実だと感じる程度を評定するよう求められた。実験の結果，文提示条件においては，適合文と不適合文の真実性評定に差は認められない一方で，絵画提示条件においては，適合文の真実性評定が不適合文のそれを有意に上回ることが明らかにされ，絵画的真実性効果が妨害課題に対する頑健性が確認された。

The content of the article is evaluated in order of truth. The participants in the true evaluation stage are prompted first to draw appropriate texts (e.g.,""), inappropriate texts (e.g.,""), and the participants are prompted at the beginning of the evaluation stage to draw novel texts (e.g.,""). The result of the test is that the text prompt condition is correct, the text is not suitable, the truth evaluation is different, the painting prompt condition is correct, the text is true, the text is not suitable, the intentional upward return is correct, the painting truth result is harmful to the topic, the robustness is confirmed.
