本研究は、学習時にまで波及している子どもの身体の「おかしさ」を改善するため、学齢期の者を対象として、オープンポーズ(カーネギ―メロン大学開発AI)を活用した、身体関節及びその動きを可視化した装置（モバイル型姿勢測定装置）を開発し、それを活用して、学習時の快適な姿勢・執筆法を提案することを目的として行ってきた。初年度(令和元年）に装置の開発を行い、それを用いた個別実験を令和2年度～3年度に実施する計画であったが、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響により実験を中断した。令和4年度から大学の対面授業が再開したため、大学生３２名を対象として、筆記具の持ち方とその際の筆記姿勢の関連についてモバイル型姿勢測定装置(以下姿勢測定装置）を用いて個別実験を行った。大学生３２名を対象とした個別実験では、まず、各自が通常行っている筆記具の持ち方・姿勢で自分の氏名を書くよう求め、その際の筆記姿勢を測定した（通常の持ち方・姿勢条件：条件１）。続いて、硬筆書写の教科書にある「筆記の正しい姿勢」の写真を掲示し、「正しい姿勢」で、通常行っている筆記具の持ち方で自分の氏名を数回書くよう求め、その際の筆記姿勢を測定した（通常の持ち方、正しい姿勢条件：条件２）。結果の分析には、筆記姿勢の変化が現れやすい頭部の位置とした。姿勢測定装置の頭部の座標(x、y、z）の測定値を位置条件１と条件２の差を算出し、３２名の筆記具の持ち方別に比較した。筆記具の持ち方については、小野瀬（1996）の筆記具の持ち方分類にしたがった。その結果、書写の教科書の持ち方を標準とする持ち方をしていた大学生19名よりも、標準以外の持ち方をしていた大学生13名のほうがｙ軸、ｚ軸で、より差が大きい傾向がみられた。この結果から、「正しい姿勢」で書く大学生のほうがそれ以外の大学生に比べて、「正しい姿勢」で書く傾向があることがわかった。
