本研究の目的は組合せ論・整数論などに共通して現れる有限群Hとその部分群Kに対し、剰余類V=H/Kのテンソル積空間でのHの表現を考え、その中心化環の構造と 不変式論、符号理論などとの繋がりを探ることであった。COVID-19感染症が蔓延する中、令和３年度までは部分的な結果と周辺的な結果が少しずつであるが得られており、令和４年度は令和３年度までに解決できなかった問題のいくつかの解決を試みた。具体的には、琉球大学の徳重典英氏および同大学の加藤満生氏との共著論文 Extending Muirhead’s Inequalityの中で提示した不等式予想の証明を引き続き試みたが、これについては、不等式予想の成立を裏付ける実験結果は多少えられたものの、論文で発表できる程度の成果は得ることが出来なかった。また昨年度は、PFUの今村氏と金沢大学の大浦氏と共同して、符号理論に関連する有限群の中心可環の構造（Bratteli Diagram）を解明し、その成果を彼らとの共著論文 Note on the permutation group associated to E-polynomialsの中で発表したが、今年度はその中心可環の表現を構成するための前段階として、生成元と関係式の決定やDiagram Algebraとしての記述を試みた。しかしながら、いずれも大きな進展は得られておらず、現在は方針の変更を試みている状態である。
