本研究では，社会インフラとして主に道路を対象に，設計過程での配慮や工夫，意思決定における設計者や事業者の思考情報を格納できる情報モデルの構築と，それらに基づく統合的な知識・知恵のマネジメントシステムの構築を目指している．本年度の研究では，第一に，これまでに構築した知識・知恵の格納モデルの概念をベースに，インフラ構築の理念から具体の構造設計に至る情報構造スキーマの構築を進めた．構築にあたっては，既存道路の建設事例を対象に，工事誌に基づく分析作業を行い，理念から設計に至る過程での情報の連鎖構造の分析を行った．その分析結果に基づき，各設計段階での設計機能を関数として捉え，概念設計は地域特性や交通統計，地形条件等を入力し，起終点・通過点・サービスレベルを出力する関数として，また基本設計は前段階での出力情報に加え地形情報等を入力し，概略の3Dモデルを出力する関数として表されることを示した．さらに詳細設計段階では，工区や構造に基づくセクショニングに基づき設計作業が行われ，そのプロセスが段階的にLOD(Level of Development)を向上させていく再帰的な関数として表現できることを表した．第二に，道路線形の地形に対する選好性を明らかにするために，山地部の峠越え道路を対象に，標高差及び距離をコストとした経路探索アルゴリズムで算出される道路線形と過去に人為的に設計された道路線形との合致性の検証を行い，道路設計メカニズムの解明を進めた．また関連研究として，建設現場監督者が行う進捗良否判定を行うポイントを明らかにし，それに基づき映像から自動検出されるKPI（key performance indicator）に基づく建設マネジメントシステムの構築に関する研究を行った．
