项目摘要

本研究はベトナムの経済成長を支えてきた農村経済、とりわけ150年におよぶ農業部門の長期的成長、特に作付構成の変化に焦点を当てて分析を行うものである。実際、今日のベトナムは新型コロナのパンデミックを経てもなお、強靭な経済成長を続けており、農業も大きく変容している。ベトナムの工業化に伴い農業は、経済成長を支え、人々に食糧を供給する主産業としての位置づけから、作付作物の多様化を伴う高付加価値化の段階へと推移した。2021年度は、植民地期の米作付、流通について社会ネットワーク分析を適用した研究を行った。2022年度は再び現代ベトナムの農家に焦点をあて、農作物を作付ける圃場が細かな片に細分化される圃場分散が作付選択を通して、農家の所得構造に影響を与えることが考えられることから、VHLSS（Vietnam Household Living Standards Survey）2006の世帯レベルデータを用いて、ミクロ計量分析を実施した。圃場分散は北部農村で進んでいるなど地域性が見られる現象である。また南部は比較的経済発展が進み平均所得が高い。ゆえに地域性が交絡因子となり、分析に内生性を伴う可能性がある。1988年の10号政治局決議で集団農業から個々の農家が経営主体になるに伴い、各村の裁量で土地が農家に配分されたケースがみられた。また、1993年の土地法で農地（利用権）の相続、譲渡、賃貸が可能になったことで農地の希少化と分散化が進展した可能性がある。したがって、1988～1992年に農家が耕作を開始した土地および1993年以降に農家が耕作を開始した土地の面積比率（農家の総保有面積に対する）を操作変数として分析を行った。その結果、圃場分散は農家所得に負の影響を与えることが分かった。これは圃場分散が農家の作付選択に制約を与える可能性を示唆するとも考えられる。
