本研究の目的は、地域医療支援病院において慢性疾患をもつ子どもや家族へよりよい支援を行うため、継続的な関わりを行っている外来看護師の実践内容を明らかにし、『慢性疾患をもつ子どもと家族のニーズを捉えるための外来看護実践ガイド』の開発を行うことである。本年度は、外来看護師の実践事例の収集を行う予定であったが、COVID-19の感染拡大が続き、外来看護師へのインタビュー調査を実施できなかった。そのため、以下を実施した。１）インタビュー調査実施に向けた地域医療支援病院の小児看護専門看護師からの聞き取り：今年度行われた選定療養費の増額により初診で来院する患者が皆無であること、外来看護師が慢性疾患をもつ子どもや家族に継続的にかかわることが難しくなっている現状から、日頃看護師が心がけていることや同僚の行っている看護実践に焦点をあてて調査を再検討する必要性があることについて情報を得た。これをふまえ、研究計画の再検討を行い、調査準備を進めた。２）慢性疾患をもつ子どものニーズをとらえるアプローチ方法の検討：上記の調査が難しい現状から、慢性疾患をもつ子どもの視点に立った研究方法について、国内外の文献から検討を行った。その結果、芸術を基盤とした参加型手法(Carter & Ford, 2013; Driessnack & Furukawa, 2012)の一つである、「photo elicitation」を用いた研究方法が行われていることが明らかになった。そこで、慢性疾患をもつ小児・思春期の子どもを対象にphoto elicitationを用いた研究論文のスコーピングレビューを行い、研究の動向と課題を検討した。本結果は、26th East Asia Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS2023)にてeポスター発表を行った。
