我々は、先行研究でからだのしくみを基軸にした健康教育が、5～6歳の子どもの健康をつくる力を育てることを明らかにした。しかしその力を向上させていくためには、生活の中でのかかわりや支援が必要となる。そこで本研究では、多職種の連携・協同による就学前の子どもを対象にしたからだを基軸にした「子どもの健康をつくる力」の育成モデルを提示することを目的とした。初年度にアクションリサーチのフィールドとして予定していた施設で、体の仕組みを基軸にした健康教育および日常生活の中でからだや健康を追求できることを目的とした活動を行った。そのことを通して、保育士とからだを基軸にした「子どもの健康をつくる力」を育成することの意義や目的を共有した。そして次にアクションリサーチを展開する予定であったが、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）により、フィールドワークを延期した。その後もフィールドでのアクションリサーチの展開を試みようとしたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の状況が悪化し、さらに保育園等でのクラスターの発生が生じるに至り、フィールドでアクションリサーチを展開することは困難と判断した。そのため当初の計画を大幅に変更せざるを得ない状況となった。2023年度は、研究代表者の所属機関を異動した。異動した所属機関の関連施設やその地域のフィールドとして可能性のある施設等についての情報を集め、これまでの研究で得られた成果や本研究の意義や目的について理解を図った。さらにこれまでの研究の知見をもとにからだの健康教育を看護学実習の一環として導入した。それにより施設の保育士や看護師や職員からからだの健康教育に関しての一定の理解を得ることができた。また当初想定していた年齢以外の幼児へのからだの健康教育の効果についても示唆が得られた。
