健康寿命を阻害する要因の多くは、ライフスタイルに起因した疾患である。そのため健康的な生活行動を形成する幼児期から、健康の主体者として健康行動をとれる資質や能力すなわち「健康をつくる力」を育成することが課題である。申請者は、先行研究でからだのしくみを基軸にした健康教育が、5～6歳の子どもの「健康をつくる力」を育てることを明らかにした。さらに「健康をつくる力」の向上にむけた生活の中での継続的な包括的なアプローチによるからだを基軸とした幼児（5～6歳）の「健康をつくる力」の育成モデルの作成を試みた。申請者の先行研究では、保育士はからだのしくみを学ぶ健康教育を、参加した子どもの変化から子どもの主体的な健康行動の実践につながると認識していた。しかし保育士自身でからだについて教えることはハードルが高いと捉えていた。そこで幼児の「健康をつくる力」の育成を推進していくためには、アクションを支援し、アクションから創出された知見を集積し、活用できるようなシステムの開発が求められると考えた。本研究の目的は幼児の「健康をつくる力」の育成・推進システムの構築にむけて、幼児（5～6歳）のからだを基軸とした「健康をつくる力」の育成モデルに基づいたアクション（実践）を支援するためのWEBシステムを開発することである。2022年度は、からだを基軸として「健康をつくる力」の育成モデルの試案にもとづいたアクションに必要な支援内容を明らかにするための準備として、研究代表者が異動した所属機関の関連施設やその地域のフィールドとして可能性のある施設等について情報を集めた。そしてこれまでの研究で得られた成果や本研究の意義や目的について理解を図った。
