2022年度4月～2023年3月までは，前年度に実施できなかった研究の第1段階である「臨床看護師を含む研究チームでのディスカッションと，病棟での認知症高齢者への介入の実施」を予定していたが，新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により，医療機関での調査は実施できなかった。取り組みの準備として，認知症看護認定看護師が勤務する総合病院の看護部長に研究計画の説明を行ない，2023年4月以降の研究実施の了解を得た。認知症看護認定看護師との研究会議については，時期の調整を進めている状況である。認知症看護を専門とする共同研究者との研究会議（オンライン）を行い，進捗状況の報告や研究の今後の方向性についての検討を行った。
